Pike's Peak Motorsports Learn to Ride
The iRide course is simple

Welcome to the Pikes Peak Harley Davidson (PPHD)/Pikes Peak Motorsports (PPM) sponsored Rider Training Program, iRide. Our owners, managers, and most of our employees ride and are passionate about this sport. Their support of the program helps to ensure you can also experience this great adventure called motorcycling.
The iRide program uses the proven curriculum of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's (MSF) certified Basic Rider Course (BRC). The program is also certified and abides by the State of Colorado's Department of Transportation Motorcycle Operator Safety Training (MOST) program rules and regulations. Information on the MOST program can be found at http://www.coloradodot.info/programs/live-to-ride/. It consists of classroom instruction and hands-on training exercises with our motorcycles. All hands-on training is done on a closed course monitored by MSF certified instructors. Each student will complete both a written evaluation and a riding evaluation using the experiences and knowledge gained during the exercises. After satisfactory completion, each individual will receive a MSF certified completion certificate. This certificate can be presented at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to get the motorcycle endorsement added to your license. In El Paso County, the only DMV authorized to do this is the one located at 2447 N. Union Blvd., 719-594-8701.
Our training motorcycle is a Hyosung GV250/Aquila. This is a lightweight, easy to maneuver machine that is perfect for this environment. The training fleet is maintained by our excellent service staff.
REQUIRED GEAR FOR COURSE
Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) approved motorcycle helmet (3/4 or full face). Sturdy, over the ankle boots with a low heel, valid Driver's License or learner's permit, protective eye wear (clear and/or tinted), full fingered gloves, long sleeved jacket or shirt (dress in layers for comfort), and long pants without tears or holes, preferably comfortable jeans.
You will be outside in the elements, so some suggested items based on previous class experiences are sunscreen and bottled water. A lunch break will be provided, so either packed lunch or money to purchase is suggested also.
